So how many of you think that the wedding day should be exclusive for the bride and groom when it comes to taking the spotlight? I am sure most of us think that way. It is their special day, all eyes got to be on them.
However, the dulha’s friends and the dulhan’s bridesmaid sometimes go a little overboard with their fashion and bling on the wedding day. It is alright, since they are excited too. But sometimes, it is good to stand out. Stand away from all that bling and glitter. Be the unconventional bridesmaid. She has that infectious charm that no one has. Let the bride shine out. Be remembered as “that classy girl.”
This shoot is about that special girl, who chose to wear something really different yet gorgeous for a morning wedding. Nothing beats Indian prints and weaves. This ensemble has a mix of Lucknowi chikan and silk.
The white kurta is a beautiful cotton embroidered Lucknowi chikan kurta from lucknow. The charm of this lies in the details. The beautiful handwork will make heads turn. Chikan work is also available is muslin, chiffon, silk, organza, net etc.
This gorgeous kurta is paired with a floral printed silk skirt. Floral print always stands out. The bright motifs makes for a beautiful pattern which cannot be ignored. The skirt takes over the shiny lehengas. It is subtle, yet powerful. Both the kurta and the skirt word in tandem with each other. They both stand out and not overlap.
The look is completed with oxidized golden jhumkas and bangles. Nothing more needs to be done.
Oh! How do i forget the shoes? Aren’t they the powerhouse of oomph and style? A strapped black stilettos to complete the look.
Apart from all this, put on that killer smile and rock the wedding! Create a story that will last a lifetime 🙂
