One little secret on how you never have to repeat your clothes

Let’s accept this, all of us want to look our best on any special occasion. Whenever we receive a wedding invitation, the first thing that comes to our mind is – what do I wear? And the answer to that is – I don’t have anything to wear! Ladies, we all are in the same boat. We want to be well dressed and hate repeating our clothes.

But the fact is – we cannot afford a new dress for every function. Let’s face it, every time you want to design something new for yourself, you end up with limited money for the month. Therefore, very reluctantly we end up wearing what we already have.

One smart and very effective idea is to rent designer wear. When you rent, you don’t have to shell out an exorbitant amount and still get something really good. This way, you have a new outfit for every occasion.

For two functions that I had to attend, I chose to rent from Date The Ramp. Right from red carpet to bridal, they have an outfit for every occasion. I chose from the Mandira Bedi collection. One saree for the cocktail event and one for the wedding. Both of them looked great and were handed over to me in a very smart saree box.

The major benefits of renting clothes as per me, are:

  • Cost effective
  • No need to clean and maintain
  • Good variety from various designers
  • No added stress of storing/preserving them

So go ahead and indulge yourself by choosing not to repeat your clothes. And the best part is, you don’t even have to let the cat out of the bag. Keep this little secret to yourself and let the world keep guessing – How many clothes does she own? 😀
